We love this one because it’s not just the pareidolia phenomenon that makes it creepy. The ‘face’ that appears in this terracotta cliff is just so scary and weird!
The slanted ‘eye’ that looks suspicious or angry; the strange, not-quite-human shape of the ‘head’; the ‘mouth’ open, with a tongue sticking out, either in anger or disgust. We’re not sure what exactly is bothering this creepy rock man, but we wouldn’t want to run into him on a dark night!
