The dips and hollows on this ancient cliff make it look like an elephant with its trunk dipped into the water. You can almost imagine the mythology that could grow up around a cliff like this.
Maybe the cliff was formed when an elephant sat down to take a drink but then he was too lazy to get up again, and so lichen grew over him, and over the years he turned into a rock face….
